Goodyear Brownfields Clean-Up

The Windsor Improvement Corporation invites separate sealed bids from qualified asbestos abatement contractors for proper removal of asbestos containing materials from the site known as the Former Good Year Plant, 28 River Street, Windsor, Vermont.  This project is being federally funded by the EPA Brownfields Grant Program through the Southern Windsor County Regional Planning Commission’s Brownfields Revolving Loan Fund. Bid Schedule is shown below. Lincoln Street Stormwater Management and Treatment Infrastructure

The SWCRPC invites proposals from qualified firms for the design of stormwater management and treatment infrastructure along Lincoln Street in Springfield, Vermont. Proposals are due by no later than 5PM on Thursday, July 25, 2019.

Better Roads Program Grants (VTrans)

Funding to support projects on town roads that improve water quality and result in maintenance cost savings. The Vermont Better Roads Program’s goal is to promote the use of erosion control and maintenance techniques that save money while protecting and enhancing Vermont’s lakes and streams.  Funding available in a variety of categories, including inventories, stream bank/slope issues, structure upgrades and correcting erosion/ storm water issues along roadways.Project ideas: stone line ditches, replace culverts, stabilize stream banks near roadways, inventories
