Springfield Brownfield project receives national attention!

Vermont’s RPCs Receive Awards
In April 2012, the Vermont Association of Planning and Development Agencies (VAPDA) was a chosen to receive a 2012 Excellence in Regional Transportation Award for RPC involvement in the recovery of Vermont’s transportation network after Tropical Storm Irene. The award was issued by the National Association of Development Organizations (NADO). In September 2012, Vermont’s RPCs were awarded Project of the Year in the 2012 Annual Northern New England Chapter of the American Planning Association (NNECAPA) Awards. The award was made due to the responsiveness, collaboration, and flexibility demonstrated by the RPCs in a time of emergency. For more information see the NNECAPA announcement.
